JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician 3 will be responsible for performing roune tasks in all facility areas.
Working under the direcon of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide safe and effecve construcon, installaon, storage, and use of facility equipment and infrastructure including racks, lights, fans, lis, HVAC, floor cleaners, etc. Pending inclement weather, you may be asked to help out with tasks including but not limited to sanding, shoveling, plowing, and general snow removal procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and train maintenance technicians
2. Improving and maintaining facility infrastructure
3. Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to create and implement SOPs, including a comprehensive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment in the facility
4. Conduct regular maintenance and inspecons of all equipment and machinery
5. Proper delegaon of tasks
6. Safe operaon of equipment including lis, floor cleaners, etc.
7. Cleaning, hauling, shipping and receiving, and other manual labor
8. Fill out detailed logs and forms for machinery processes and maintenance.
9. Advise Maintenance Supervisor by supplying employee performance management data

10. Liaise with department heads to schedule roune maintenance and repairs to facility equipment and infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to racks, lights, fans, lis, HVAC, floor cleaners

11. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfuncons, ensuring proper acon is taken in a mely manner to avoid producon downme

12. Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to contract and oversee maintenance and repairs by 3rd party vendors/contractors

13. Maintain inventory of tools, machinery, equipment, and parts and supplies
14. Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor to schedule maintenance of grounds, including sanding, shoveling, plowing, and grass mowing

QUALIFICATIONS

● At least two years of experience in Maintenance Tech 1 and 2 roles
● Supervisory experience preferred
● Previous experience as a Maintenance Tech, with experience in mechanical, HVAC, and electrical maintenance
● Ability to culvate and develop the talents and skills of the other team members for their professional growth
● Knowledge of and ability to follow internal safety guidelines and procedures, OSHA regulaons with regards to safety and documentaon, including but not limited to Hazard Communicaon,
Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Machine Guarding, and Electrical Safety

● Available to respond to aer hours emergencies when needed
● Stand for long periods of me, walk, reach with hands and arms, as well as consistently li 10-20 lbs and occasionally li up to 50 lbs
● Work seated and standing for extended periods of me on concrete floors, maintaining body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and using your hands to hold, grasp, turn, pick, and pinch to complete tasks

● Have a high aenon to detail and ability to focus on complex & sensive processes.
● Strong communicaon skills, with ability to collaborate with mulple departments and external vendors to ensure connuous operaons
● Communicate with peers and management clearly, with kindness and respect
